27-11-06, Russian Mothers awarded the Fund with a diploma
The Congress of Russian mothers awarded the Responsible Gaming Fund with a diploma for the activities aimed at protecting children from gambling addiction. The main testimony for making the decision to award was the fact that the Fund is the first in the country to take real action for raising the age quota of visitors to gambling facilities up to 21 years.
At the Congress, during the awarding ceremony, Deputy Chairperson of the Fund Ekaterina Kulikova made a speech emphasizing how essential it is for Russian gaming business operators to establish high social standards. According to her, guidelines developed by the Fund can significantly mitigate the industry-related social tension. One of the most important requirements, as Kulikova said, is raising the age quota.
